I wrote about e-sports for the July 2018 issue of Men’s Health, which entailed travelling to Berlin to interview a couple of League of Legends players from the team Fnatic and watch them train. I’m a keen gamer (less so since I became a dad, admittedly), but I struggled to follow what was happening on screen: the amount of information they process, and actions they perform (up to 300 mouse clicks a minute), is unreal.
